She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth J. Washburn of Macomb, Dr. Stephen R. Gates (Flemming Behrendt), France, Jeffrey F. (Comer Gates) and Wayne C. (Carla Gates); her daughter-in-law Eveline Gates of Lafayette, NY; and her sister Anna Bette Brown of Greece, NY.
