It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David A. Drake of Gouverneur, New York, born in Waddington, New York, who passed away on March 14, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving A. Drake and Lilliebelle Drake (Lavier); his son Mark D. Drake; his sister Rose J. Haring; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Haring and Yale Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Alice C. Bush; his daughter Marcia; his son-in-law Mason Wedlock; his son Matthew; his daughter-in-law Wendy Drake; his grandchildren, Heather, Elizabeth, Jordan, Alexander (Kaitlyn), Megan (Jacob), Malory, Andrew and Ayden; his great grandchildren, Adelina, Zander, Grieson and Mya; and his sister Helen Phillips. He is also survived by two nephews and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gouverneur Methodist Church Friday luncheon, Disabled Veterans, Richville Fire Department, Gouverneur Rescue Squad, or to a charity of one's choice.
