Alice H. Phelps Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Alice H. Phelps of Gouverneur, New York, born in Rossie, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Q. Drumb and Helen Mae Drumb (Shippee); her former husband Melvin K. Phelps; her children, Carol L. Phelps and Frederick C. Phelps; and her siblings, Donald F. Drumb, Doris M. Geer and Betty E. Benjamin (Donald A. Backus).

She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda K. Virnig (Thomas Ritchie) of Harrisville and Teresa Y. (Maurice Gutierrez); her sisters, G. Ruth McAllister of Carthage, Lois L. Steel of Spragueville and Anne L. Weller of Plessis; and her sister-in-law Donna Szenas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
