With solemn reverence, we commemorate Alice E. Weldon of Gouverneur, New York, whose life came to an end on April 23, 2025, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph C. Youngs and Beulah A. Youngs (Hilton Reynolds); her husband Douglas W. Weldon; her son Steven Weldon; her brothers, Clifford L. Youngs, Wallace A. Reynolds, Hugh R. Reynolds, Bruce A. Youngs and Randolph C. Youngs; and her grandson Joseph Weldon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry (Lisa Weldon), Diane (Charles Williams), Danny (Gina Weldon) and Teresa (Scott Gillan); her daughter-in-law Jane Weldon (Morrill); and her siblings, Joan L. Kinney (Youngs), Lynn B. Youngs, Lona B. Rastley (Youngs), Wanda M. Bailey (Youngs) and Wiley J. Youngs. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gouverneur First United Methodist Church (34 Grove St, Gouverneur, NY 13642).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer to have donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Gouverneur Neighborhood Center or Gouverneur Volunteer Rescue Squad.
