She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Otero and Bernarda Benitez Otero; and her siblings, Pablo, Enoelio, Ciro, Manuel and Mercedes Santiago (Otero).
She is survived by: her husband Luis Rivera; her children, Madeline Hernandez (Jose) of Montgomery, NY, Melissa Scott (Dennis) of South Windsor, CT and Luis Rivera (Tisha) of Sanford, FL; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hernandez McCann, Justin Hernandez, Briana Hernandez, Jordan Rivera and Preston Scott; and her great grandchildren, Dashiell and Gemma McCann. She is also survived by 1 brother and 5 sisters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Quigley-Sullivan Funeral Home Inc. (337 Hudson St, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY 12520). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church (510 W 165th St, New York, NY 10032).
