Gerald Martin Toner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2025, at the age of 80, Gerald Martin Toner (Goshen, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Vincent and James Toner; and his brother-in-law Roger Fallon. He is survived by: his wife Ann Lawlor; his daughters, Anne Egger (Christopher Egger), Kristin Toner Reed (Michael Reed), Dr. Lorraine Toner and Catie Couch (Paul Couch); his grandchildren, Gabriel Egger, Elizabeth, Andrew Reed, Josiah and Eliana Couch; his siblings, Ann Fallon, Eileen Mulroy, Francis Toner (Margaret) and Patrick Toner (Kathleen); and his godfather Andrew Lohan (Ileen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home (130 Highland Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (90 Euclid Ave, Middletown, NY 10940). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery (111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY 10924).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either The American Lung Association https://www.lung.org or St. Jude's Children's Hospital https://www.stjude.org.
