He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boles and Anna Boles; and his siblings, William Boles, Carl Boles (Florence), Jane Putnam (Douglas), James Boles (Patricia) and Sally Horton.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Christiano; his children, Kathleen Zarrelli (Gerardo), Michael and Richard Boles; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Zarrelli and Katelyn Zarrelli (Brandon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
