Orville left this world on September 10, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pettit and Marion Pettit (Delong); and his brothers, Ronald and Robert Pettit. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pettit; his children, Donna Williams (Jeffrey) and Shelley Brienza; his brothers, Charles Pettit Jr. and Thomas Pettit; and his grandchildren, Kate Tylutki, Kyle Zajaceskowski, Justine Christman, Cassandra Christman, Dennis Fisher and Alyssa Fisher. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home Inc. (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095).
