She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. Gegenheimer; her siblings, Joan, Charles and Robert; and her sons-in-law, Richard Vogel, David Johnson and Dewey Webber (Eugene Sparks).

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Webber of Bleeker, Helene Oathout (Jim) of Broadalbin, Joanne Johnson of Northville, Arlene Orapello of Broadalbin, Barbara Monahan (Chris) of Gloversville and Donna Cox (Peter) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Halgas Funeral Home (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
