“I was terribly saddened to receive the email from Laura Doneias regarding Geogine's passing. I had the fortune to know her in my early days with Swissair at Hangar15, JFK, and then mostly memorably as my boss in the New York City Ticket Office, probably my fondest time in my 26 years at Swissair. She was so special and I know she adored her family. Always with a smile, an encouraging word, and happy disposition. It had to be difficult for her when her husband, Don, also a wonderful man, left us in 2013. In my 4 years at the Ticket Office I can honestly say there was never a bad day, no matter how stressful the job got to be. She was such a pleasure to be around and one of the kindest persons ever. I grieve for the family and pray you will have comfort knowing she is reunited with Don and other loved ones. Prayers and love to all. Bob Bellia/NYCTS”
