She is survived by: the father of her children Carl Ovitt Sr. of Johnstown, NY.; her children, Carl Ovitt Jr. (Lucinda) of Ephratah, NY, Cristen Hoffman (Smitty) of Ephratah, NY and Chad Ovitt of Gloversville, NY.; her granddaughter Callen Rumrill (Richard Jr.) of Oppenheim, NY; her great grandchildren, Richard Rumrill III and Hunter Rumrill; and her sisters, Karen Boyd of Yarmouth Port, MA, Susan Miller (Ron) of Amsterdam, NY, Joan Simeone (Dominick) of Hagaman, NY, Barbara Tautznik (Peter) of Gloversville, NY and Gail Carusone (John) of Broadalbin, NY..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pine Tree Rifle Club (419 Johnson Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to the RGL Fire Department.
