With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice R. O'Brien of Gloversville, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Benware and Alice Benware (Gauthier); her husband George O'Brien; and her children, Carol Schwed, David Reynolds and Bruce Hojohn.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Basco, Robert Hojohn (Cathy) and Kathy Cornell (Larry). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
