He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shumaker and Flossie Shumaker (French); his son Scott Shumaker; his siblings, Fred Shumaker and Louise Goings; his parents-in-law, George and Ruth Rathbun; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Wooster and Philip Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth A. Shumaker (Rathbun); his children, Mark Shumaker (Debbie), Todd Shumaker (Maressa) and Susan Wenzel (Fran Connor); his daughter-in-law Kim Shumaker; his sister Gypsie Calvi (Richard); his siblings-in-law, Josephine Wright, Carroll Wooster, Harold Rathbun (Johann) and Robert Rathbun (Kay); and his grandchildren, Elisha, Matthew, Adam, Mallory, Shelly, John, Emily and Logan. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
