He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Paulsen and Bertha Paulsen (Dittmann); and his brother Rudy Paulsen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Paulsen; his children, William Jr. Paulsen (Kim), Jeffrey Paulsen (Kimberly) and Wendy Soroka Anderson (Mark); his stepchildren, William Barker (Heather) and Lisa Perodeau (Matt); his grandchildren, Mark, Eric, Olivia, Leah, Lindsey, Sarah, Jeffrey, Michelle, Jack, Lily, Gracie, Cole and Aidan; his brother Dr. Carl Paulsen (Joann); and the mother of his children Phyllis Paulsen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
