He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson and Bessie Wilson; and his siblings, Robert Wilson and Betty Donaldson. He is survived by: his wife Lola; his children, Robert Wilson (Tish LaTorre), Bert Wilson (Stacy), Marian Markley (Jeff), Annie Nason (Scott) and Dianne Denniston (Andy); his grandchildren, Lauren Markley, Brian Markley (Samantha), Andy Nason (Jessica), Jessie Modzeleski (Tyler) and Emily Nason; and his great grandchildren, Tommy and Weston Markley. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY 12302). The military honors was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
