It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Gaida (Glenville, New York), born in Stillwater, New York, who passed away on August 10, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gaida and Carrie Gaida (Ontkush); and his siblings, Thomas Gaida, Gerald Gaida and Helen Parry.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his stepson James Tortorella (Angela); his grandchildren, Victoria Gaida, Cory Ostrowski, Paul Krowel, Christina Krowel, Darren, Tyler and Lindsey Johnson; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Tortorella, James Tortorella and Jesse Tortorella; his sisters, Carol Longo and Nancy Gaida; and also Schenectady. He is also survived by married in 1967; two children from a former marriage, Deborah Gaida Ostrowski (John Miller) of Sprakers, NY and Thomas Gaida (Carol Hentnik) of Northville, NY; two children.
