It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Ballmes (Glenville, New York), who passed away on February 8, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ballmes and Elizabeth "Bessie" Ballmes (Quigg). He is survived by: his close friend Gail Schlotter; his partner Gail Schlotter; his children, George Ballmes of Rotterdam, Jacquelyn Lionarons (Ernest) of Saratoga, David Ballmes (Debbie Maddalone-Kenyon), Christine Ballmes (Hector Ramos) and Sandy Schlotter; his grandchildren, Justin Lionarons, Alescia Lionarons (Brian Bentley) and Karissa Ballmes; and his great grandchildren, Gavin Lionarons, Anneliese, Julianna and Cody Bentley.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's honor to Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205 or the Ronald McDonald House, 139 S Lake Ave, Albany, NY 12208.
