He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Russell and Dorothy Mae Russell (Fichtner); his wife Barbara Russell (Stewart); and his brother Thomas Russell Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Richard F. Russell Jr. (Susanne) of Amsterdam, Sherri Lynn Tusang (George) of Glenville and Laura Ann Rabideau (Michael) of Glenville; his grandchildren, Meghan Cady (Octavia), Deanna Russell, Richard Russell III, Derrick, Brittany Tusang, Courtney and Mason Rabideau; his great grandchild Apollonia Cady; his friends, Dan and Brenda Evans; and also, Christopher and Chase.
