It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip Alan Sears (Glenville, New York), born in Corning, New York, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Jasper and Eleanor Sears Sr. (Mitchell); and his siblings, Linda, Austin and David Sears.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Sears; his foster children, Dean Kleitgen, Drew Kleitgen and Dale Kleitgen; his siblings, Beatrice Beebe (Roger), Frank Sears (Marty), Kathy Merrill, Brian Sears (Cheryl) and Arlene Sears Closky; and his sister-in-law Darlene Bryant Morton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, and dozens of nieces and nephews.
