He is survived by: his wife Shanta Nair; his daughters, Savita Nair and Priya Nair Gebo; his sons-in-law, John Carroll and Matt Gebo; his granddaughters, Anjali Carroll, Mira Carroll, Leila Carroll, Leela Gebo and Dhara Gebo; his grandson-in-law Spencer Tricker; and his siblings, Prabhakaran and Sharada. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
