She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ferris and Jennie "Jane" Ferris (Bradt); her great-nephew Kevin Malis; and her brother Burton Ferris (Veronica Smith). She is survived by: her husband Edmund L. Malis; her children, Linda Pflaum (Fred), David Malis (Jackie), Diane Casey and Christopher Malis; her grandchildren, Andrew Malis (Aubry), Joel Malis, Sophie Malis, Michael Casey (Brittani) and Kevin Casey; her great grandchildren, Kendra Kiechle, Kali Casey and Camden Casey; her nephew Mark Ferris (Cindy); and her niece Ann Laws Jr. (Robert).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY 12302). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Cemetery.
