He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gardina and Ruth Frederick Gardina; his siblings, Jean, Ernie and Annette; and his son-in-law Joseph Mara.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Young Gardina; his siblings, Mark Gardina and Lisa Treganowan; and his children, Michael Gardina, Jr. (Fran Knapp) of Wolfeboro, NH, Joseph Gardina (Julie) of Middletown, NJ, Janet Mara of Glens Falls, NY and Sara Hanke (Robert) of Amsterdam, NY. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Church or to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern NY, in care of the funeral home.
