He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Medick and Jean Medick (Viglucci); his brother Paul Medick; his wife Marie Medick; his stepchildren, Erin Kurz (Bill), Christopher O'Brien (Christi) and Shannon O'Brien (Joseph Sharpe); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jillian, Landon Kurz, Cade, Mackenzie, William O'Brien, Joe, Zack, Jordyn, Alexis and Ian Sharpe; his great grandchild Sunny; and his sisters, Donna Hood (Charles), Nancy Armstrong (Mark) and Mary Beth Ribet (Steven). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
