He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Gollmer and Helen Gollmer (Werling); his wife Arlene Bruce Gollmer; and his brothers, Stephen Gollmer and Larry Gollmer (Shirley).

He is survived by : his children, Bruce Gollmer (Tammy), Christine Thaxter (Richard), Paula Elmendorf (Jeffrey) and John Gollmer; his grandchildren, Sean Thaxter (Chastity Hopkins), Morgan Gollmer, Alaina Thaxter, Andrew Elmendorf (Chloe), Seth Gollmer, Nicholas Elmendorf (Emily), Danielle Gollmer and Kayla Gollmer; and his brother Thomas Gollmer (Sharon).
