She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenei Kakazu and Oto Zaha; her stepmother Haruko Nakaima; and her husband Richard Douglas. She is survived by: her son Leonard Douglas (Gail) of Burnt Hills, NY; her grandchildren, Ryan Douglas (Katie) and Amy Douglas; her great grandchild Aubrey Douglas; her sister Yoshiko Kakazu; and her stepbrothers, Kenichi Kakazu, Kiyoshi Kakazu, Minoru Kakazu and Noboru Kakazu.
