He was predeceased by : his parents, Gomer Richards and Carlie Richards (Coolidge); his son James "Jayme" McRee; and his brother Gomer "Dick" Richards. He is survived by : his friend Jack; his wife Carol J. Richards; his children, John "J. R." Richards (Alison), Christine Paterson (Jay), Thomas Richards (Hollie), Sheila Rae McRee (Peter Ford) and Andras "Drew" Janik; his grandchildren, Heather, Rael, Jack, Evelyn, Skyler, Gavin, Brodie, Mason, Eloise and Mariska; his great grandchild Christopher; and his sisters, Marge Backus (late Gail) and Carol Sarasin (late Jerry).
