He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Wescott and Eunice Bovee Wescott; his wife June McCarthy Wescott; and his siblings, Herbert Wescott, Albert Wescott, Ray Wescott, Bernard Wescott, Shirley McKenna and Virginia Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Michael and Patti Ingram; his granddaughter Jessica Ingram (Jason); his pet Samba Sue; and his sister-in-law Edith Wescott (New Jersey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Joel's name to the West Glenville Fire Company, 2024 West Glenville Road, Amsterdam, NY. 12010.
