With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Janis A. Bruce (Glenville, New York), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Janis left this world on April 24, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Macey and Susan Macey (Maracek); and her sister Patty Macey. She is survived by: her significant other Robert "Bob" M. Bruce; her stepdaughter Jolie Honey (Dave); her stepgrandchildren, Ryan Honey and Rhianna Ovitt (Dakota); her stepgreat-granddaughter Aurora Ovitt; her brother John Macey (Naomi); and her nieces and nephews, Matt Bruce (Jane), Adam Bruce (Jennifer), Bethany Bruce of Patience, Tobi Bruce, Johnny Macey (Gabrielle), Joe Macey, Brian Macey and Danielle Macey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Glenville, NY 12302). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Corners Fire District #7 Ladies Auxillary, 5 Airport Road Glenville, NY 12302.
