He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dodge and Edna Dodge (Lansing); his wife Joan E. Dodge (Engel); and his siblings, John L. Dodge (Anna), Ruth Barber (Al) and Electa Utermark (William).
He is survived by: his daughters, Stefanie Lotey (late Michael) and Amy Swearingen (Tracy); his grandchildren, Christopher Lotey (Jennifer Parmon), Jill Scharling (Christopher), Tyler Swearingen and Jordan Swearingen; and his great grandchild Silas Scharling.
