He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George A. Thornton and Doris Thornton (Decker); his siblings, Matt and Maureen Thornton O'Connor (Bill); and his nephew Robert of Cincinnati.
In lieu of flowers, George has requested that donations be made to The Animal Protective Foundation at 53 Maple Avenue, Scotia, New York 12302 in his memory.
