He was predeceased by: his father Lionel Dantz; and his brother Timmy Dantz. He is survived by: his children, Dennis J. Dantz (Christine) and Amanda Voorheis (Logan); his grandson Miles Dantz; his mother Janice Dantz; and his siblings, Robert Dantz (Dee), Debra Collins, Sharon Feldman, Janice Herold (John), Daniel Dantz (Geralyn) and Arlene Luibrand (Peter). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
