We are sad to announce that on April 6, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Susan Pokrzywka (Glenville, New York), born in Bennington, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, David Fonda and Sophie Fonda (Sicinski); her husband Henry "Mike" Pokrzywka of Luke's Church; her daughter-in-law Mary Dickerson; her sister Elizabeth Cauley (Jim); and her brother-in-law Gary Maher.

She is survived by : her sister Fran Maher; and her sister-in-law Helen Ross. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“I know you are happy that your Mom lived a long and full life, and that her passing was fairly quick. We can all hope for that. Like my Mom, she was unconditional love and that will always be with you and everyone she touched. It is helpful to think about this in painful times. Her loss is felt by so many - what a kegacy that she was loved by so many.”
