He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Braswell and Mary Braswell; his wife Joyce Braswell; and his siblings, Leonard Braswell and Elaine Sox.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. and Harvey A. Braswell (Tess); and his grandchildren, Jia-Lin and Trent Braswell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
