It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Second Lieutenant Carl Anthony of Glens Falls, New York, born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dante Cappiello and Virginia Cappiello (Fleres); his brother Frankie Cappiello; his parents-in-law, Raymond Sr. and Adelaide Duval; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Duval (Johnston) and Clifford Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Duval; his daughter Kyra Bennett (Zach); his grandsons, Owen and Todd of Glens Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Raymond Duval of Queensbury and Jacqueline Roberts of Fort Edward. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reprieve from the long chronic health issues stemming from his service in Desert Storm, which was further complicated by his diagnosis of COVID-19.
