He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lynch and Elizabeth Lynch (Wetheral); his aunt Leone Cleckner (Shine); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Val Callan.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Lynch of Glens Falls; his children, Amanda Young (Michael) of Fort Edward, NY and Eric Lynch (Abby) of Warrensburg, NY; his granddaughters, Harper and Brooklyn Lynch; and his brother Henry "Bing" Scherer (Sue) of Massachusetts. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
As his last act of kindness, Robert donated his corneas.
