He was predeceased by: his parents, James Belden Clear, Sr. and Katherine Clear (Corsall); his brother James Clear; and his uncle Joseph Corsall. He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Clear; his stepdaughter Denise of Glens Falls; his grandson Dominick; his siblings, Vivian (Larry LaRose), Paulette (Henry Pelkey), Marianne Rourke of Queensbury and Joe (Lisa Clear); and his sister-in-law Jill Clear of Moreau.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. (68 Main St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's/ St. Paul's Catholic Church (62 Warren St, Glens Falls, NY 12801). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legend (72 Pearl St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839).
