He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Griffin and Mae Griffin; his wife Renée; and his siblings, Thomas Griffin and Lillian Lindtvit.

He is survived by: his children, Thérèse Griffin, Robert, John, James Falana, Patricia, Deborah Falana and Coleen Griffin; and his pets, Tiffy, Ollie, Coco and Champ.
