He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Planty and Leona Planty; and his sisters, Thelma Planty, Christine Swinton and Jane Gifford.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Sherman of Lake Luzerne, Henry Planty of Glens Falls and Stanley Planty of Greenwich.
