He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Rivers (Butler) and Richard Rivers; his son Harry Joseph Rivers Jr.; and his siblings, Laroy Rivers, Wayne Rivers, David Rivers, Pricilla Crum, Wanda Maiers and Rose Brown (Gary).
He is survived by: his wife Addie; his children, Jeff Butterfield and Kelley Bills; his daughter-in-law Sherry Rivers; and his grandchildren, Ryan Rivers, Jeffery Butterfield Jr., Justine Rivers (Robert Bunting) and Emily Sayaman (James). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in his name to the South Glens Falls Fire Company.
