It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Gifford (Glens Falls, New York), born in Hudson Falls, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Gifford and Madeline Gifford (Smith); his spouse Dorothy Rabideau; his granddaughter Bethany Petteys; his siblings, Jean Brodie (Ed), Patricia Bruce and James Gifford; his brother-in-law Earl Mattison; his children, Daniel Gifford of Moreau and Jon Gifford (Linda) of Chester, NY; his grandchildren, Sara Buenaventura (Jason, Erin Lawrence) and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Clara, Luke, Adele, Ethan and Olive; his sister Joyce Mattison; and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Bruce and Anne Gifford. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
