He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Depew and Uta Depew (McCullough); his brothers, Chris and Dana Depew; and his sister-in-law Marsha Depew.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Depew (McKernon); his children, David Depew (Janine) and Dana Depew (Leslie); his grandchildren, Ryan, Laura, Jacobie and Carlie; and his brothers, Randy Depew and Scott Depew (Margo). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
