He is survived by: his children, Maureen Tierney (Brian) and Timothy Joseph Simmons; his granddaughter Cora JoAnn Tierney; his sister Dianne La Pierre (Richard); and his pets, Amy and Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
