He was predeceased by: his son Daniel P. Ryan; and his siblings, Donald Ryan, Joseph Ryan, Helen VanHattum, Lori Tanksi and Mary Greishaber.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Ryan and Mildred Heidelmark Ryan; his wife Edna Markert Ryan; and his children, John Ryan (Trudy Martin) and Kathleen Ryan Dickey (Mark Case). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
