He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kawola and Helen Saluga Kawola; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Linda Kawola. He is survived by: his children, John Kawola (Nancy) of Hudson, Mass., Sara McGraw (Brian) of Glenmont, NY and Margaret Armington (Stefan) of Morristown, NJ; his grandchildren, Emily Kawola, Abigail Stuart (Evan), Eileen, Molly McGraw, Garran and Sean Armington; his former wife Eileen Connell Kawola; his nieces, Ellen Foley and Suzanne Kawola; and his friend Linda Gottstein.
