With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Newkirk of Glenmont, New York, born in Selkirk, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Newkirk and Alfred Newkirk; and his siblings, Theodore Newkirk and Barbara Pickup. He is survived by: his wife Sandra P. Newkirk; his children, Shane A. Newkirk and Susan S. Heath (William); his grandsons, Rafael V. Balls and Sean W. Heath; his siblings, Ed Newkirk (Marje), Don Newkirk (Nancy) and Louise Goes (Cornelious); his brother-in-law Donald Pickup; and his brother Hilary Bruce.
Due to COVID, services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
