He was predeceased by: his son James; his children-in-law, Beverly and Lawrence Ward; and his brother Stephen Maier. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Daniel (Joanne), Thomas (Mary), Donna Maier and Brenda Ward; his siblings, Virginia Rod (George), Geri Botyrius and John Maier (Maureen); and his grandchildren, Michelle, Ben, Brennan, Aaron, Charlotte, Craig and Jessie. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
