She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Fierstein and Max Fierstein; her husband Alan Steingart; and her brother Sheldon. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jacqueline Haan (Robert), Frederic Perlmutter (Theresa), Zakary, Rose, Alyson, Ava and Charlotte Steingart; and her great grandchild Alec Haan.
