She was predeceased by: her parents, George Francis Degen, Jr. and Margaret Mary Degen; and her brothers, Robert and Thomas Degen. She is survived by: her brothers, George (Patricia) and Gerard Degen (Linda); her nieces, Courtney (Ezra) and Katie (Colin); and her nephew George. She is also survived by her nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitting Funeral Home (300 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Head, NY 11545). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Church (235 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Locust Valley Cemetery (117 Ryefield Rd, Locust Valley, NY 11560).
