With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hannelore Orzel (Glen Head, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Mark; and her siblings, Ewald, Heinz, Ellen, Thea and Leo.

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Luchsinger (Bob), Peter (Colleen), Paul (late Karen) and Thomas (Lisa); her sisters, Mia and Agnes; and her goddaughters, Nancy Kunz and Susan Boop. She is also survived by grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.

A Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Hyacinth (319 Glen Cove Rd, Glen Head, NY 11545). A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Rood Cemetery.
