As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Zoraida may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jose; her children, Hector (Elizabeth), Miriam, Aurora, Jose (Diana) and Edgar (Elizabeth); and her siblings, Omaira and Carlos. She was also cherished by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home (26 Franklin Ave, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Patrick (235 Glen St, Glen Cove, NY 11542). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Locust Valley Cemetery (117 Ryefield Rd, Locust Valley, NY 11560).
